Ceylon Iced Tea is making waves in Tokyo this summer! On 3rd and 4th July , 2025, the Sri Lanka Tea Board and the Japan Tea Association (JTA) are hosting a vibrant promotional campaign at Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan Station in Chiyoda-ku. This joint initiative aims to introduce Japanese tea lovers to the refreshing taste of Ceylon Iced Tea, a perfect match for the sweltering summer season.
The event was inaugurated on July 3rd with the presence of H.E. the Ambassador and the Chargés d’Affaires ad interim from the Sri Lanka Embassy in Tokyo, highlighting the strong cultural and diplomatic ties between the two nations. Visitors can enjoy Ceylon Iced Tea, learn about the heritage of Ceylon Tea, and experience the unique flavors that make it a global favorite.
