Sri Lanka Tea Board participation of 16th edition of Hong Kong International Tea Fair 2025 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong International Tea Fair, renowned as Asia’s premier marketplace for the tea industry, facilitates connections among supplies of tea and related products and buyers from across the globe. This year’s exhibition was held from 14th to 16th August 2025 in Hong Kong and the event was organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. Hong Kong is identified as a tea-trading hub and is reported to have the highest tea consumption among all Asian cities at 1,060 grams per capita (ITC Report 2024) – twice the world’s average.
Sri Lanka Tea organized the National pavilion to promote Ceylon Tea while facilitating 04 Ceylon Tea export companies as follows.

2) Shan Teas (Pvt) Ltd
3) Saya International Tea & Food Exports (Pvt) Ltd
4) Premier Natural Teas (Pvt) Ltd
In addition, the SLTB officer served as a Judge of the evaluation panel of the Hong Kong International Tea Competition 2025 which conducted paroral to the exhibition. Approximately 150 samples of Tea were evaluated under Black Tea, Green Tea, Oolong Tea, Pu’er Tea and other tea categories.
